The Future of Agriculture Is Taking Shape Today
within the Framework of AGROmashEXPO and AgrárgépShow

This year, the professional programs of the exhibition also focus on the energy solutions of the future: organized by the Hungarian Hydrogen Technology Association, hydrogen will be presented as a promising alternative for agricultural enterprises, offering solutions for renewable energy storage and emission-free operation.

In order to reduce the carbon footprint of agriculture, the Hungarian Hydrogen Technology Association, in cooperation with Hungarian agricultural companies and universities, is initiating the establishment of a Hungarian Agricultural Hydrogen Valley. The concept aims to provide sustainable energy for the operation of tractors, agricultural machinery, and irrigation systems through green hydrogen produced from solar energy and biogas.

The future of agriculture can only be green – and hydrogen plays an indispensable role in this transition.

In this spirit, the Hydrogen Open 2026 Conference brings the topic to the forefront through spectacular exhibited solutions and inspiring presentations.

Thematic Focus by Conference Days

The three-day Hydrogen Open 2026 Conference provides a comprehensive overview of the role of hydrogen and biogas in the future of agriculture.

• January 21–22
  During the first two days, the focus will be on the international regulatory environment for hydrogen and biogas, sectoral developments, as well as concrete project and cooperation opportunities.
• January 23
  On the closing day, participants can explore the latest technological developments and the project opportunities emerging within the newly launching Hungarian Agricultural Hydrogen Valley.
