PRODUCT AWARD 2025

The evaluation of applications for the 2025 AGROmashEXPO Domestic and International Product Development Awards has concluded. Despite a challenging start, a significant number of applications were submitted. However, as always, there were some withdrawals due to uncertainties regarding the display feasibility of the products.

The applicants entered with valuable and exciting products, and I am pleased to report that 50% of the participants competed for the Domestic Grand Prize.

Overall, the Mechanization category remained the most popular. Here, the entries spanned a broad spectrum, including tractors, seed drills, fertilizer spreaders, sensors mounted on sprayers, stalk treatment equipment for sunflower headers, grain cleaners, and even drying equipment.

From this colorful array, the jury had to select the best solutions during a two-stage evaluation process. As always, intense professional debates preceded the final decision. Based on these, the following results were achieved:

2 applications won Grand Prizes, 5 received Special Awards, 7 were awarded Premium Certificates.

Product Description

The latest product from Massey Ferguson features AGCO POWER engines ranging from 285 to 425 horsepower. The MF 9S.425 model is equipped with a continuously variable Dyna-VT transmission, ensuring optimal power transfer. Additional features include a wheelbase exceeding 3 meters, an operating weight over 15 tons, and a 400-liter/min hydraulic system with multiple connections.

The MF 9S also incorporates state-of-the-art digital technologies, such as RTK-level automatic steering, section control, variable rate application, and MC Connect telemetry. The innovative MF AutoTurn headland turning automation is another highlight, enhancing efficiency and ease of use.

Product Description

OPTIMER disc harrows, with widths of 6 and 7.5 meters, now come with ISOBUS compatibility. This innovation, known as SMART SOIL TECHNOLOGY – SST (Smart Tillage Technology), recently won the top award at EIMA.

Ease and Convenience: The OPTIMER 6000 and 7500 disc harrows are ISOBUS-compatible, enabling convenient machine settings from the operator’s cab. The Section Control feature automates headland turns, while the TC GEO function allows working depth modulation based on preloaded field maps and records actual working depth data.
Quality and Precision: SST includes STEADY CONTROL ULTIMATE technology, which automatically regulates the pressure in the actuators holding down the soil-working elements using pressure and position sensors.
AUTO-LINE Functionality: The most significant innovation offered by SMART SOIL TECHNOLOGY, AUTO-LINE continuously corrects the OPTIMER’s lateral deviations to ensure precise operation along the intended path, regardless of field terrain.

Product Description

The Cirrus Grand machine addresses modern agricultural challenges with outstanding precision, flexibility, and efficiency. With a 9-meter working width and a 5,750-liter tank capacity, it ensures effective performance. Its standard 60:40 dual-chamber tank is optimized for big-bag loading, enabling simple and flexible refills. The dual-chamber design supports separate dosing of seeds and fertilizers or filling with identical products for maximum efficiency.

The TwinTerminal facilitates precise calibration, while the high-mounted, efficient fan ensures continuous operation. Matrix tires provide excellent compression and soil protection. The new distribution head ensures accurate spreading and row-by-row shut-off, minimizing overlaps. The machine offers a 16.6 cm row spacing and TwinTec double-disc coulters.

CHH Technical Ltd. – Cimbria SEA.IQ Plus Optical Sorter

Product Description

The Cimbria SEA.IQ Plus optical sorting machine represents the pinnacle of seed processing.

The machine can remove contaminants of the same color but different material. Its optical system is expandable and customizable. An optional UV light-detecting camera is ideal for identifying fungus-infected seeds, such as aflatoxin-contaminated corn.

The software identifies 16 million colors, including infrared, and photographs flowing seeds 25,000 times per second, evaluating the images. Each pixel undergoes up to 16 pre-set error checks. The machine’s capacity can scale up to 30 T/h.

Using artificial intelligence (AI), the machine develops sorting criteria based on the seeds processed after the initial setup.

The colorful touch screen features a user-friendly graphical interface in Hungarian, and recipes can be customized and saved easily. CHH Technical Ltd. handles on-site installation, operator training, and servicing.
